Track creation

Master track creation with comprehensive tools for adding, configuring, editing, and organizing tracks, including single-tempo sections and transitions for accelerando or ritardandos.

Creating tracks

Tap the '+' button to create a new track and give it a name.

Adding a track section

Tap the '+' button to add a new section to the track. Choose either a regular section for a single tempo, or a transition for an accelerando or ritardando.

Configuring a regular section

Choose the 'New section' option to bring up the section settings. Tap on the various attributes in the section card to edit them. Sections have an optional label, a tempo, a number of bars, a number of beats in each bar, and a subdivision. Accent patterns can be customized as well, just like the regular metronome.

Configuring a transition section

Choose the 'New transition' option to bring up the transition settings. Transitions have an optional label as well as a starting tempo and ending tempo; tap on the numbers to edit them. Within each transition are inner transition sections. These sections will play sequentially as the tempo changes, allowing you to configure various settings within the tempo transition. The inner sections work just like the regular section settings. Transitions must have at least one inner section, so one is provided automatically. Tap on that section to edit the default settings to your needs. Additional inner sections can be added with the 'Add transition section' button.

Editing a track section

Tap on the section to bring up the editing options.

Deleting a track section

Drag the section to the left to reveal additional options. Select the red trash icon to delete the section.

Duplicate a track section

Drag the section to the left to reveal additional options. Select the indigo copy icon to duplicate the section.

Re-ordering track sections

Tap and hold a section and drag it to move it to a new position.
